Where were these people 90 days ago?

I announced 90 days ago that I was taking early retirement and I was going into teaching. The senior director, someone I've known for twelve years, now takes an interest in what I'm doing. It is only eight days before I leave. I have had more communications with this person in the last two days than I've had with her in the last 4 years. She wants to be brought up to speed on everything I've worked on. I'm at a point where I just want to say "bite me," but I don't want to get my ass fired in my last eight days.
